In an ocean of life we swam

Different seas and rivers

Other Suns and birds

Above our skies

There was plenty of time

To feel the cold water

But the queer hand of fate

Would drink a toast

And neither hook or star

Could wipe the  grin

That kiss

From this face

You man

Teach me the courage

That love is the soul of our existence

Something three nations could not spoil

I am skinless

Golden

Warm

Drained of doubt

I throw my fish

In your pan

To watch it

Sizzle
